Dr Alain Shab is an established General Surgeon and Phlebologist. Dr. Shab received his medical degree from the Lebanese University and completed his training in the specialty of General Surgery at Claude Bernard University in Lyon, France in 2005. Interested in Modern techniques for treating Varicose veins, Dr Shab trained intensively in this field with Dr. Asad R. Shamma. He is now practicing at the So Vein clinic where he performs Duplex Ultrasound of the lower extremities, Transillumination Guided Sclerotherapy, and the minimally invasive Endoluminal Laser Ablation for large bulging veins. Dr. Shab is also skilled in the newer technique of foam sclerotherapy, and in the treatment of spider veins. Recently, Dr. Shab joined the prestigious American College of Phelbology, and is now an active member of this society.
